In order to enhance safety of navigation on all waters, Sternula is providing VDE-SAT coverage and service transport to shore authorities, service providers and ship owners over our own VDE-SAT Satellite network, starting in 2022.

Consider using our VDE-SAT network “as a service” to get early VDES coverage in your waters for very cost-effective distribution of known and new maritime services to the vessels in your responsibility area.

As VDES is the natural evolution from AIS, it can be expected to have penetrated the maritime ships in about 10-15 years from now, and all services will be available to all ships that today have AIS equipment on board (nearly all).
