S-201 AtoN information

The S-201 Aids to Navigation (AtoN) Information Product  Specification provides a common structure for the exchange of information about AtoNs. This includes buoys, beacons, racons, lights, sound signals and AIS. The product contains the positions, properties, operational status and general comments related to an AtoN.

The S-201 PS can be used to exchange AtoN information in a consistent form between Lighthouse Authorities, Hydrographic Offices and other organizations, including commercial and professional agencies.

Please note that the Product Specification includes zip files, containing potentially executable code (XML). Every effort has been made to ensure that this does not present a cybersecurity risk. However, files are opened and used at your own risk.

It should also be noted that this PS is for trial purposes. Version 2.0.0 will be for implementation.
